Where Evo Oil tells a story
Calemone‘s extra virgin olive oil comes from an important effort aimed at enhancing and revitalizing the typical agriculture of the area, essentially based on the awareness that only a clean and fair use of the cultivation, production and processing of this resource can guarantee the agricultural sustainability of the area.
Calemone’s extra virgin olive oil “L’Oro del Parco” is born from a BIO agricolture of centuries-old olive trees of Torre Guaceto Natural Reserve, produced from ancient olive groves of Ogliarola Salentina, older than 800 years, which occupy an area of more than 3 hectares.
The characteristics of the territory where it is produced (combined with sustainable cultivation and the use of traditional and ancient techniques) have ensured that the “Oro del Parco” EVO oil obtained important awards not only in Italy, thanks to the constant commitment on the cultivation, on the harvesting and the processing of olives.

Classic and Supremo:
two superior category oils
In an expanse of olive trees that occupies an area of 260 hectares between the cities of Carovigno and Brindisi, the centuries-old olive trees (aged between 500 and 700 years) are dedicated to the production of superior quality olives, capable of producing oils ready to enrich any dish.
The cold extraction (that is the mechanical process at controlled temperature) allows to Calemone’s olives the capacity to release a unique and intense aromatic bouquet, typical of the Ogliarola Salentina and Cellina di Nardò cultivars, two native varieties of the area.
The extra virgin oil that is obtained from this methos it is the result of an intense work that starts from the monumental olive groves, where the olive harvest and their subsequent milling takes place in compliance with the right harvest times and only when they have reached the perfect time of maturation.
“Classic” and “Supreme” oils produced by Calemone, is presented with a green color with intense shades of yellow. To the nose and to the taste it is presented as a medium fruity, with a sweet taste, with slight perceptions of spiciness and a bitter note for the Supreme oil.
